RECENT HEALTH AND SAFETY UPDATES
The Hutchinson Island Plaza Hotel & Suites is committed to providing a clean and safe environment. Based on guidance from the CDC and local and state agencies we have enhanced our cleaning and sanitization protocols in addition to adjusting some of our offerings.
Please note that only registered hotel guests are permitted to enjoy the amenities, including the pool, inlet beach, sundeck and fishing pier. We are unable to accommodate visitors at this time.
For the safety of our guests and staff we ask that anyone who is feeling ill or has been in contact with someone with Covid-19 to postpone their travel. For more information, please refer to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Markers are located on the floors in common areas to remind guests to keep distance from others. Additional notices are in the elevator recommending guests use the elevator only with their party.
Limited Room Access
Limiting room entry during stay (Housekeeping service every five days.)
In accordance with the American Hotel & Lodging Association Safe Stay Guidelines, face coverings are required in all indoor public spaces.
Increased disinfecting of high traffic areas and touchpoints including the front desk, elevator and doors using EPA agents that kill the Covid-19 virus.
Electronic Air Sanitizers
Installation of electronic sanitizers in common area air conditioners.
Removal of non-essential items
We have removed some shared use items from guest rooms (ex: coffee maker, ice bucket and cups) however they are available by request at the front desk.
Proper hand washing is recommended but not always convenient, hand sanitizer stations at high traffic touch points have been set up for guests & staff to use.
Individually wrapped items for breakfast provided in a grab & go style.
Electronic Payment Only
Cash is currently not being accepted for payment. A valid credit/debit card is required (Apple Pay/Android Pay/NFC Payment accepted.)
